FRESH PINEAPPLE & GINGER JUICE



This is perfect for a hot summer afternoon. I love this juice not only because its fresh,simple to make and healthy, but the calming sensation you get after having it.
 
INGREDIENTS

1 whole pineapple (peeled and chopped into pieces)

2oz fresh ginger (peeled and chopped into pieces)

4-5 tablespoons sugar

Juice of 1 lemon

4 cups of water

 

PREPARATION METHOD

1.        In a food processor/blender, combine pineapple, ginger, sugar, lemon juice and water.

2.       Blend all ingredients together until smooth.

3.       Pour the mixture into a jug using a sift to get a lump free juice.

4.       Refrigerate the juice or add ice cubes.

5.       Serve when juice is chilled.
